I was trying to think of fun Valentine's Day inspired activities I could do with the girls and since we love home made popcorn, why not make some delicious candied popcorn?!
Ingredients:
1/4 Cup of popcorn kernels
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1/4 cup of candy melts
1 container of sprinkles and a little more (any kind you want)
1 cup of pretzel sticks (broken up)
1 cup of mini marshmallows
DIrections:
-First, make your popcorn by pouring in the oil and kernels into a large deep pot. I leave mine on medium heat and I shake my pot often so the popcorn doesn't burn!
- Once the popcorn is cooked, place it in a bowl
- Melt your candy melts and pour them onto the popcorn in the bowl and add your fixings
- Mix well with a spatula then lay out on a baking sheet and let sit for about 10 minutes and you're done!
