New Year’s Eve with Ring Pop

New Year’s Eve Crafts with Ring Pop

Thank you Ring Pop for sponsoring this post.

With the New Year approaching I thought it would be fun to share some fun crafts my family and I made with Ring Pop! For New Year’s Eve, we like to keep it low-key at home with just our immediate family.

This year I wanted to craft something that was fun and practical for all. We made some unique stem rings so we could identify our drink glasses and also made some whimsical Ring Pop wands!

I get such nostalgia with Ring Pop because I have such fond memories of enjoying them as a kid and remembering all the fun imaginative games we did with them. It means the world to me to be able to create new memories with my kids and Ring Pop!

These were the perfect crafty editions to our at-home New Years’ celebration! I also love more than anything that with these Ring Pop crafts, I am creating memories that my kids will cherish forever and hopefully recreate with their own kids one day!

Ring Pop really does make every party sweeter!

What you’ll need for your Ring Pop drink tags

Ring Pop Party Pack

Cardstock paper (any color you want)

Marker (any color you want)

Hole puncher

Pipe Cleaners

Shaped Push Puncher (or you can cut a favorite shape with scissors)

Materials for Ring Pop Drink Tags:

Step One:

Use your shape puncher to punch holes in your cardstock paper. Punch out as many as you need for the number of stemmed glasses you have.

Step Two:

Write the name or first initial of the person the glass is for on your shape. I used a glitter marker for a little added sparkle.

Step Three:

Punch a hole in the top of your shape, then string through a pipe cleaner.

Step Four:

Tie the pipe cleaner securely around the Ring Pop.

Step Five:

Stick the Ring Pop that now has the glass identifier around the stem of a glass!

Ring Pop Wands

Hangouts are better with Ring Pop, especially when making fun whimsy wands out of them! My kids love to twirl them around and pretend like the Ring Pop gem carries magical features - perfect for a New Year’s Eve celebration. They also like to enjoy eating their Ring Pop while it’s on the wand. It definitely creates a fun and unique way to enjoy a Ring Pop!

This simple craft can be made with just two easy steps that I provided below:

Materials for Ring Pop Wand:

Ring Pop Party Pack

Glue Gun with extra glue sticks

Festive paper straws (1 for each person)

2 12’’ strands of yarn (per wand)

5” strand of Tinsel (per wand)

Step One:

Use your glue gun to saturate the bottom of the Ring Pop and the top of the straw. Do not worry about excess glue; it will all be covered with tinsel + yarn. Hold tight until the glue dries.

Step Two:

Decorate the wand with yarn, tinsel, and whatever else your heart desires

I can’t wait to see how you design your Ring Pop crafts!

Happy New Year!

Xo,

Mimi
