I knew I wanted to make something fun and amazing with the kids to commemorate the legacy of Dr. King.
I was totally inspired by Pinterest and when I saw the notoroious photo of Dr. King addressing the crowd at the Washington Monument I knew right there and then that I had to recreate it!
Materials you'll need are:
Card stock paper in all the colors you see pictured above
Glue or crafters glue (that's what I used)
Circle lever puncher in 3 different sizes (all linked above)
The beautiful pennant was made by my dear friend Sierra Miller and they are available for free on her website!
I hope that you can create this wonderful craft at home with your family. It doesn't need to be MLK JR. Day to observe him, you can make this craft all year round.
Xo,
Mimi
